Group members met in Karl's home to watch Before Stonewall, and the first portion of After Stonewall in order to supplement their research and understanding of the LGBTQ movement in America. These two documentaries offer a history of the gay and lesbian movement in the US through historical footage and interviews with those who lived through it.

I own these films and have watched them before, but it was nice to re-watch and talk about some of the information with group members.
ReplyDeleteWatching the films as a group and sharing our thoughts and implications for our project was a nice alternative way to brainstorm what we would like to do as a group and what may realistically be possible and not possible.
