On September 23rd, our group met and discussed the following:
- Mary reported that she had not heard back from our contact, Steven, at Pride and agreed to call him again and let him know we are on board to work with him and begin the process.
- As a group, we discussed the idea of doing the Social Movement paper on the LGBT population. Mary and Jessica had decided to choose this as a topic. We agreed that utilizing some of the articles/research being done for this assignment could correlate with our Social Change Project.
- We discussed resources, including the movies Before Stonewall, and After Stonewall, that could be helpful for us.
The above information is correct. I called Steven Ha once more and left a message, I will continue to call him throughout the week. I am also researching articles that may relate to our population.
